Swim Drink Fish Edmonton Hub Water Quality Monitoring

The Swim Drink Fish Edmonton Hub Water Quality Monitoring Program collects water quality data from the North Saskatchewan River in the Edmonton region at sites where our community actively uses the water for recreation, yet there is no water quality data that can help recreational water users make an informed decision about when and where they can enter the water. A greater population is seeking information about places across Edmonton to access the North Saskatchewan River. The ultimate goal of our work is to bring recognition to the NSR as a water body of immense value to the community (human and non-human) and protect it from future pollution events.

The NSR is the heart of many in the Edmonton community's connection to water. This data supports their ability to connect to that water safely.
