Prefectural decree to review the sound classification of land transport infrastructure. The 2014 Order is repealed.
The assessment and management of environmental noise in particular of land transport infrastructure is regulated in the Environmental Code in Articles L571-10 and R 571-32 to R.571-43 relating to the classification of tracks.
The Order gives, for each of the sections of infrastructure concerned, classification in one of the five categories defined in the amended Ministerial Order of 30 May 1996, the width of the sectors affected by noise on both sides of those sections and the type of fabric.
The layers of this folder are the surface materialisation of these areas affected by noise.
According to Decree No. 95-21 of 9 January 1995, buildings to be constructed so-called sensitive (house, educational, health, care and social institution) in areas affected by noise must have a minimum acoustic isolation against external noise, as determined in accordance with the Ministerial Order of 30 May 1996 as amended.
