Crop production value in Ireland 2018-2023, by type

The production values of certain crops in Ireland have increased every year since 2018, despite a drop in overall production value in 2019. These crops include mushrooms, fresh vegetables,and fresh fruits. Potatoes, wheat, and oats, conversely, show a decrease in value in 2020. Going into 2022, the production value of all crops increased but decreased significantly in 2023. Forage plants, made up of primarily silage and hay, are the crop with the highest production value each year.
