This six minute video, filmed on location in the Chino Valley, describes the geometry and timing of fault activity on the Little Chino Fault. This is an active fault with a moderate recurrence rate on the order of tens of thousands of years and capable of yielding earthquakes of magnitude 6 to 6.5. It presents a hazard to residents of Chino Valley and nearby Prescott, Arizona.
