Site Data from an Archaeological Watching Brief at St Mary's Church, Shelton, Bedford, November-December 2021

This collection comprises images and a report from an archaeological watching brief at St Mary's Church, Shelton, Bedford, Bedfordshire. Albion Archaeology was commissioned to prepare a written scheme of investigation, in accordance with the planning condition, and to carry out the required archaeological works, which were completed between 24th November and 2nd December 2021. A small amount of animal bone and modern (post-1750) pottery was noted in the upper soil layers but was not collected.
