RNA-Seq in WT and Cav3.1 knock-out mPFC with or without chronic stress

The balk RNA-seq in WT and Cav3.1 knock-out (KO) mPFC with or without chronic stress was done to detect gene transcripcts assiciated with chronic stress-induced depressive-like bahaviors in mice. Total RNA was extracted from mPFC in WT and Cav3.1 KO with or without chronic stress using an RNeasy Kit. The library preparation, sequencing, and Fastq file processing and mapping were conducted as described previously (Matsuo K et al., Cell. 2024;187(24):6835-6848.e20.; Ikenoshita S et al., J Clin Invest. 2023;133(22):e164792.).
