Alaska commercial salmon fishery ex-vessel prices, 1984-2015

Ex-vessel prices are post-season adjusted price per pound for the first purchase of a commercial harvest. Ex-vessel values are usually established by determining the average price for a species caught by specific gear in a specific area. Here, ex-vessel prices for all five species of salmon (pink, sockeye, chinook, chum, and coho) are included, spanning from 1984 to 2015. Data are included from all of Alaska and are presented annualy by region, including the following regions: Alaska Peninsula, Bristol Bay, Chignik, Cook Inlet, Kodiak, Kotzebue, Kuskokwim, Norton Sound, Prince William Sound, Southeast, and Yukon.
