In this study we have validated the prognostic strength of the Oxford Classic-defined EMT in an independent cohort of HGSOC patients- 'Brescia Ovarian Tumour'. Additionally, we carried out whole transcriptome sequencing of FLOW-sorted tumour epithelial cells from five HGSOC patients at diagnosis. RNA sequencing of 139 fresh-frozen bulk tumours (Brescia samples) was carried out using NEB Next® Ultra II RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina. Whole-transcriptome sequencing using SMARTer Stranded total RNA-Seq kit v2 Pico input was carried out on FLOW-sorted tumour epithelial cells from five High Grade Serous Ovarian cancer patients. Paired-end sequencing of the libraries was carried out on Illumina NovaSeq 6000 S4 flowcell with PE150.
