The goal of this experiment is to evaluate the performance of actuator controllers in the frequency domain.
A band-limited white noise (BLWN) from 0 to 50 Hz with a displacement RMS of 0.254 mm was commanded to experimentally determine the servo-hydraulic system transfer function with outer-loop control. Controllers were designed to match the specimen conditions.
Variations include:
a. 0.0 Amps in damper, CDM controller
b. 0.0 Amps in damper, CDM w/FB controller
c. 2.5 Amps in damper, BDM controller
d. 2.5 Amps in damper, BDM w/FB controller with feedback
