资源简介:

The dataset 'Rheometer data' contains force-displacement data from cyclic tension-compression testing of porcine spinal cord specimens at up to 15% strain. The raw data were filtered using a moving average and linear interpolation. To approximate the hyperelastic material response for infinitely slow strain rates, the load/unload curves have been averaged. Each specimen folder includes data for three tension-compression cycles. The CSV files mean_neg (compression) and mean_pos (tension) contain the displacement and averaged hyperelastic force data from the second and third cycles. Data Structure: the columns are angular displacement [rad], displacement [m], torque [Nm], and normal force [N]. Naming & Geometry: Specimens follow the naming convention PSC_<spinalcord_id>_<specimen_id>. All specimens were cylindrical with a diameter of approximately 8mm. Specimen height (in meters) was determined from the test data and is recorded in the geometry.yaml file within each directory. The dataset 'Indentation data' contains contains the raw force-displacement data from indentation testing of porcine spinal cord specimens with a spherical beads of nominal radius of 100 µm and a maximum indentation depth of 50 µm. Some folders contain apparent moduli which are automatically computed by the Chiaro Nanoindentation Software during the experiments and saved together with the raw data. These apparent moduli were not used in the supported publication. Each raw data file contains the corresponding experimental parameters in the header. The experimental conditions of indentation grid scans are as follows: matrix_scan01 -> Tests on grey matter with loading rate v = 5 µm/s matrix_scan02 -> Tests on grey matter with loading rate v = 50 µm/s matrix_scan03 -> Tests on grey matter with loading rate v = 150 µm/s matrix_scan04 -> Tests on white matter with loading rate v = 5 µm/s matrix_scan05 -> Tests on white matter with loading rate v = 50 µm/s matrix_scan06 -> Tests on white matter with loading rate v = 150 µm/s The file 'overview of excluded indentation curves.xlsx' lists the indices of indentation tests that were excluded for each individual matrix scan because their force–displacement curves did not exhibit the characteristic profile expected from indentation experiments. Indexing starts at zero and follows an alphanumeric order within each matrix scan (e.g., index 0: X-01 Y-01; index 1: X-01 Y-02; index 2: X-01 Y-03; ...; index 11: X-01 Y-10; index 12: X-02 Y-01; ...). Further explanation regarding the specimen preparation, experimental setup as well as the assignment of regions and governing regions can be found in Neumann, O., Ramachandran, R.G., et al.
