How life-design counselling influence young adults’ (between the ages of 17 and 29) mastery of unresolved developmental tasks and enable them to flourish in their career lives

This qualitative, mixed-methods case study research design was implemented and constituted identical pre- and post-intervention data-gathering phases. The quantitative pre- and post-intervention results included scores from the MEPSI and CAAS-SA as provided in the dataset.The adapted life-design counselling intervention included the Career Interest Profile Version 7 and life-design intervention strategies such as structured and semi-structured interviews, career genograms, collages, and lifelines. The qualitative data was transcribed and analysed through thematic analysis along with the assistance of Atlas.ti (v24) software (codebook provided).
