The data is sourced from the International Labour Organizations (ILO) ILOSTAT database, pulled directly from its REST API and filtered to Asia ISO3 country codes. It includes columns such as country code, country name, data source, indicator code, indicator name, sex disaggregation, age classification, disability status classification, observation year, observed value, and observation status flags. The data is annual frequency and harmonized using International Conference of Labour Statisticians (ICLS) definitions. It is suitable for tabular classification, tabular regression, and time-series forecasting tasks, enabling analysis of informal employment trends in Asia.
