The goal of this study was determine gene changes from LSD1WT and cKO mice that had ligature induced periodontal disease. Overall design: Bone marrow was isoalted from 2 month old female LSD1WT and cKO mice who had ligature for 7 days. Bone marrow from the mandible and femur was flushed and incubated with M-CSF and RANKL for 2 days to generate preostoeclasts. RNA was isolated using a qiagen kit and sequenced.
