Transcriptome sequencing or RNA sequencing was performed on two days old grown seedlings of downy mildew resistant (P310-17) and susceptible (7042S) pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum l.) genotypes inoculated with and without downy mildew (Sclerospora graminicola Sacc.) (4x104 zoospores/ml) through next-generation sequencing platform for identification of genes associated with downy mildew resistance in pearl millet.
