Zinc-amino-acid supplementation alters lamb rumen bacterial communities but zinc sulfate supplementation does not.. lamb rumen bacteria

This study evaluate the effect of zinc supplementation on the rumen bacteria of lambs. Two zinc formulations were used; an organically-sourced zinc-amino-acid complex, and a synthetically-sourced zinc sulfate. Both were given in excess of dietary requirements.
