This CD presents data reported by U.S. carriers. These data are releasable after a 3 year confidentiality period and include U.S. Air Carrier foreign point to foreign point traffic. These data are often referred to as either "market" or on-flight origin and destination records. The data fields contain information on passengers, freight, and/or mail enplaned at the origin airport and deplaned at the destination airport. This CD presents 12 months of data. This is a new file that includes a new field, Carrier World Area Code (WAC), at the end of each record. This field indicates a carrier's world area. This is useful for grouping foreign carriers (Carrier WAC > 100) from U.S. Carriers (Carrier WAC < 100). Data are restricted and made available to the public after three years. Data are available since 1990.
