FoodWeight1.4M PreviewSubset

This Zenodo record provides a lightweight preview subset sampled from the FoodWeight1.4M dataset. The subset is released for manuscript review and data-format inspection, allowing reviewers to examine the image organization, category diversity, image quality, and food weight annotations. Associated Manuscript FoodWeight1.4M: A Large-Scale Real-World Dataset and Benchmark for Food Weight Estimation with Vision-Language Models Preview Subset Statistics Number of food categories: 500 Number of images per category: 5 Total number of images: 2,500 The images are organized by English food category names. Each category corresponds to one folder. The weight label of each image is included at the end of the filename in the format _x.xxx-kg, where x.xxx denotes the food weight in kilograms. Notes This preview subset is not the complete FoodWeight1.4M dataset. It is intended only for manuscript review, data-format inspection, and reproducibility checking during the review process. The full FoodWeight1.4M dataset contains approximately 1.4 million images covering 1,549 food categories. The complete dataset will be made available upon publication of the manuscript, subject to the stated data release policy.
