Brythis Crini Pancratii Instance Segmentation Dataset

B. crini pancratii instance-segmentation dataset totals 2610 images and 5537 annotated instances (one class), i.e., 2.12 instances per image overall and 2.71 per annotated image, as recapped in Figure 4. We include 567 null images (21.7%) as hard negatives. The negative set also includes habitat images with non-target Lepidoptera larvae to penalize spurious detections on look-alike caterpillars and enforce species-specific semantics.
