Transcriptome sequencing of Fragaria vesca accession Hawaii-4 fruit and root

Transcriptome sequencing of a diploid woodland strawberry, Fragaria vesca accession Hawaii-4, was performed using Roche/454 GS FLX Titanium. Fruit and root organ-specific datasets are provided here, each from the sequencing of a complex pool of samples at various stages of development. Data were used to generate evidence-based gene models in the first diploid strawberry genome project (finalize: paper citation).
