Metagenomic Analysis to Characterise Oral Microbial Signatures in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cases from Coastal Karnataka, India

This study explores the oral microbial profiles in patients with Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (OSCC) from Coastal Karnataka, India, using 16S rDNA based metagenomic analysis. Understanding these microbial patterns could enhance early detection and targeted treatments for OSCC and findings may also offer insights into regional variations in oral microbiota linked to OSCC.
