ERDF & LIFE Workbook and Extracted Datasets

Data collection'ERDF & LIFE Workbook 1.2.xlsx' is a dataset of the all the ERDF and LIFE projects extracted from the EU's project databases (https://kohesio.ec.europa.eu/en/projects and https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/life/publicWebsite/search) based on limiting the search filters from 2014 - 2024, and using the term "Biodiversity Conservation” OR “Invasive Species". LIFE's web database couldn't be filtered correctly, so we downloaded all projects from 2014 - 2021 (the maximum year setting available), then filtered cells through Microsoft Excel containing the terms "Biodiversity", "Conservation" and "Invasive". Within this dataset one can find general statistics on EU funding per country, the number of projects funded alongside descriptions of each project.
Data extraction'ERDF & LIFE Extracted Datasets 1.0.xlsx' contains the stratified sampling design used within our research. It also contains all the data extracted from each reviewed ERDF and LIFE project from our stratified sample (in total, 345 ERDF and 109 LIFE projects had been reviewed).
