RodEpil: Laboratory Rodents Dataset for Epileptic Seizure Detection
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains a curated collection of short video clips of laboratory rodents recorded in a controlled epilepsy experiment. The clips are labeled for the presence or absence of convulsive motor seizures. Recordings were obtained from 19 rats with pilocarpine-induced epilepsy monitored over multiple days. Each clip is 10 seconds long and derived from full-session recordings.Rats were filmed 10h per day for 30 days, before the treatment (from Jan 14 to Feb 19) and after the treatment (May 9 to June 8) The dataset includes 10,101 negative clips showing normal motor activity and 2,952 positive clips showing convulsive seizures. Clips were extracted after manually cropping individual cages, and labels were assigned based on expert-reviewed seizure annotations. Filenames follow a consistent schema encoding recording date, video ID, cage position, subject ID, frame range, and class label. This dataset is intended for research on non-invasive seizure detection, video-based behavioral phenotyping, and benchmarking of machine-learning models for rodent motor-seizure classification.Paper Reference: [2511.10431] RodEpil: A Video Dataset of Laboratory Rodents for Seizure Detection and Benchmark Evaluation
