VPRS 18234 Transcripts [Legal Discovery/Case Management System]

This series contains confidential transcripts from the Royal Commission into Family Violence (RCFV), held in the Commission's legal discovery / case management system (Ringtail). This includes unredacted versions of the hearings, roundtable meetings and lay witness evidence.This series also includes six expert 'roundtable' discussions, which were designed to to canvass policy considerations relevant to family violence. The roundtable discussions were held on specific topics in the period between the two blocks of public hearings. The aim was to delve more deeply into topics that had been touched on in the public hearings.Each roundtable discussion was attended by between six and 11 participants, as well as commissioners and staff of the Commission. Among the participants were judges, magistrates, academics, current and former representatives of government agencies, policy-makers and service providers. The sessions were kept confidential in order to facilitate the candid exchange of views and ideas.
