AROME_WMED reanalysis_1

AROME_WMED reanalysis_1 is a reanalysis version of the AROME_WMED model covering the western Mediterranean basin. A (re)analysis is produced every 3 hours (00, 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18, 21 UTC); a +3fr range forecast is produced on 03-06-09-12-15-18-21UTC slot. A hourly forecast up to +54hr range forecast is produced on 00UTC slot. The file named "GRIDHSTHYMEX0025+0000" is the (re)analysis. The last two digits correspond to the forecast range, that is to the forecast based on the reanalysis_1.<br />

Observing strategy: <br />
SOP1/SOP2 operational forecasting for the HyMeX campaign. Fields are available in GRIB or NETCDF format. 1) GRIB: classical atmospheric fields are available on Pressure (1000,950,925,900,850,800,700,600,500,400,300,250,200,150,100) and some on height levels (20,50,100,250,500,750,1000,1250,1500,2000,2500,3000m). 2) NETCDF: the following fields are available: Mean sea level pressure, T2m, V10m, Q2m, solar flux, LW flux, sensible heat flux, latent heat flux, wind stress, 1hr cumulated rainfall, land sea mask.
