Dataset and R Script for: Geometric Morphometrics of Pistillate Flowers in Astrocaryum sect. Huicungo (Arecaceae)

This dataset contains the raw landmark configurations and the complete R script utilized for the geometric morphometric analysis of pistillate flowers in the 11 Peruvian species of Astrocaryum sect. Huicungo (Arecaceae). The repository includes two .TPS files corresponding to the 2D shapes of the calyx (N = 549) and corolla (N = 549), digitized using 4 landmarks and 16 semilandmarks. The associated R script contains the complete analytical pipeline, including Generalized Procrustes Analysis (GPA), bilateral symmetry extraction, Hierarchical Procrustes ANOVA, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Canonical Variate Analysis (CVA).
