These records consist of the correspondence of the Rental Advisory Service before its functions were taken over by the Tenancy Service of the Property Branch of the Department of Consumer Affairs in February 1988. General complaints relating to tenancy matters were given the prefix "R.A.". Only a sample of these files has been retained. The majority of files have the prefix "A.A.", and relate to more serious complaints, particularly where tenants have been locked out of rented premises. (10/41290-95). 6 boxes.
