Processed rainstorm variablesd dataset and Python code for compound hydroclimatic risk analysis in subtropical monsoon China
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains processed rainstorm variables and Python scripts supporting the manuscript “Persistent moderate rainstorms dominate compound hydroclimatic risk in subtropical monsoon regions.” The study analyzed compound rainstorm behavior across Guangdong Province, China, using 61 years of daily precipitation observations from 39 meteorological stations. The deposited files include processed rainstorm duration, rainstorm accumulation, and rainstorm intensity variables used for the D-vine Copula and Markov chain analyses. The repository also contains the Python code used for rainstorm index extraction, marginal distribution fitting, dependence modeling, joint exceedance probability estimation, return-period calculation, Markov state classification, transition analysis, and figure/table generation. Raw daily precipitation records are not redistributed in this repository because they were obtained from the China Meteorological Data Service Center and may be subject to the data provider’s access and redistribution policies. The processed variables and scripts are provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and verification of the analyses reported in the manuscript.
