Cold-acclimation completely compensates UV radiation-induced DNA damage rate in amphibian larvae (Limnodynastes peronii)

Exposure to UVR causes harmful DNA damage in amphibians, particularly at cold temperatures where DNA repair enzymes may not be as efficient. This project investigated whether amphibian larvae have the capacity to thermally acclimate to low temperatures, compensating for the depressive effects of temperature on UV tolerance.
