The Digital Landscape Model 1:250 000 (DLM250) describes the topographical objects of the landscape and the relief of the earth's surface of the Federal Republic of Germany in vector format. The information scope of the DLM250 is based on the content of the topographic map 1:250,000. The object type entry corresponds to the ATKIS object type catalog DLM250. To update the database, the digital landscape models of the federal states (ATKIS basic DLM) and the digital topographic maps of the federal states are used.
Among other things, the DLM250 is suitable as a basis for spatial planning, as a cartographic basis for the operational planning of security and rescue forces or for deriving our own customized cartographic representations.
The Digital Landscape Model 1:250 000 (DLM250) is available for the first time in the AFIS-ALKIS-ATKIS application schema version 7.1.2.
