This dataset supports the study "Beyond Wind Speed: Integrating Oceanic Indices for Superior Wind Energy Prediction," which investigates the role of large-scale oceanic indices and time-lagged variables in enhancing monthly wind power forecasting. It includes monthly power generation data (2015–2019) from the Pawan Danavi wind farm in Sri Lanka, alongside mean wind speed and eleven global oceanic climate indices (e.g., ENSO, PDO, AMO, AMM).
