Dataset: Spatial optimization for ecological restoration of mangroves in Blanca Jeannette Kawas Fernández National Park, Honduras

This dataset contains the findings of a carbon stock inventory conducted by CATIE (Centro Agronómico Tropical de Investigación y Enseñanza) in 2016. The aim of this project was to measure and quantify carbon stocks at the ecosystem level in the mangroves located in the Blanca Jeannette Kawas Fernández National Park, Honduras. Fieldwork was carried out across 6 different sites, and 24 plots, where vegetation was surveyed and soils were sampled to provide estimates of total ecosystem carbon stock. This publication represents the vegetation survey component of that effort.
