SOHO/ERNE-HED AC1 Level 2 Proton Data

This data product provides proton intensities derived from an onboard hardware counter of the anticoincidence (AC1) of the ERNE-HED (10.1007/BF00733438) instrument onboard SOHO (10.1007/BF00733425). Within the EU Horizon project SPEARHEAD, the instrument's GDML model has been rebuild (see GDML model 10.5281/zenodo.20841984 and report 10.5281/zenodo.18314030) and the response function for this counter has been recalculated (see report 10.5281/zenodo.18314122), utilizing a cross-calibration with SOHO/EPHIN (see report 10.5281/zenodo.20011683). Software version V01: - Effective geometric factor (cm2 sr MeV): 850.1 - Effective energy (MeV): 130.4 Time resolution: 5 minute Time stamps mark start of averaging interval (rounded to the second) Bad/missing data are removed from the output (no fill values) Intensities and uncertainties are given in 1/(cm^2 s sr MeV) Nominal coverage (UTC): 1996 – 2025 - Column 1: Start date and time of averaging interval (UTC, format: YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SSZ)- Column 2: Anticoincidence 1 (AC1) intensity (float, scientific notation, e.g. 1.51E-03)- Column 3: Anticoincidence 1 (AC1) uncertainty (float, scientific notation, e.g. 1.51E-03)
