Number of samples analysed by the ADG&A laboratory

This table shows by calendar year: • the number of diesel fuel samples obtained during inspections on public roads (taken from the fuel tanks of vehicles). The AGD&A Laboratory determines whether these samples meet the requirements for fuels for vehicles on public roads. One of the requirements is that these samples should not be marked, i.e. they should not contain a red dye or Euro marker (Solvent Yellow 124). • the number of samples related to an import or export of goods. • the number of samples analysed on suspicion of prohibited substances (drugs, doping, precursors, etc.)". The AGD&A laboratory also carries out analyses in the context of excise duties, but these figures are not included in this table.
