Thermal Car Segmentation Dataset

This dataset contains annotated thermal images focused exclusively on car segmentation, created under the EU-funded project ODYSSEUS (Grant Agreement ID: 101073910). It is designed primarily for training and evaluating YOLO-based object detection and segmentation models on thermal data.

Each image includes precise annotations for car contours and bounding boxes, facilitating research in autonomous systems, intelligent surveillance, and thermal vision applications. The dataset supports the development of robust AI models capable of detecting vehicles under challenging visibility conditions, contributing to ODYSSEUS’s mission of advancing AI-driven situational awareness technologies.
