The dataset reflects the basic characteristics of China's floating population in 2012 stratified by specified regions, including population counts and row-wise percentage distributions of indicators such as gender ratio, age structure, place of household registration, ethnicity, educational attainment, type of household registration, and marital status across various classification intervals.
