Local anaesthetic endolaryngoscopic procedures: effect of steroid injection on cortisol levels

This thesis examines the effect that steroid injections into human vocal cords has on the body's hormone balance (including the body's own ability to make steroid hormones) by measuring blood and saliva cortisol levels after patients underwent vocal cord steroid injections for their pre-existing vocal cord inflammatory conditions.
