Global dataset of nitrogen pool and flux estimates

Dataset of global nitrogen pools and flux estimates from 1955 to 2025 (through May). Data are seperated by domain (terrestrial, aquatic, atmospheric) with an additional tab for data that were not included in the data synthesis (total inputs that were redundant of existing data or data outside the scope of the project). The primary dataset was used to derive a global nitrogen budget, which shows data included in the nitrogen balance calculation and how "best estimates" were derived. Version 1 (June 18, 2025) and version 2 (August 15, 2025).
