资源简介:
The 2009 National Community Attitudes towards Violence Against Women Survey (NCAS) is the first national survey of community attitudes towards violence against women funded by the Australian Government and administered by VicHealth. The Australian Institute of Criminology and The Social Research Centre were key research partners. The survey establishes a contemporary baseline upon which to improve our understanding of factors leading to the formation of community attitudes on violence against women, and will help to inform the design and implementation of future prevention interventions that will address violence against women across our communities. The main point of differentiation between the methodological approaches for this (2009) survey and the succeeding (2013) survey was the adoption of a dual-frame sample design in the second survey. Also, in 2009 three separate samples were generated and three separate surveys were conducted (nonprobability sample design). However, only the General Community survey responses are included in this data file.
