Chemotherapy resistance mechanisms of CF-based NAC in esophageal cancer

Combination therapy with cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil (CF) remains a cornerstone treatment for locally advanced and unresectable esophageal cancer (EC). Therefore, elucidating the mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance to CF therapy is critically important for improving clinical outcomes. In this study, RNA sequencing was performed using tumor specimens (post-NAC surgical specimens) collected from EC patients who received CF-based neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC).
