Area equipped for irrigation in Ghana 2000-2021

As of 2021, 223,000 hectares of land were equipped irrigation in Ghana. The extent of irrigatable land in the country remained relatively stable from 2015 onwards. In 2000, the land area equipped for irrigation amounted to 31,000 hectares. The total land area in Ghana exceeded 227,000 square kilometers as of 2021.
