Simulation data used in the paper ”Understanding the magnetic dip ahead of the dipolarization fronts using PIC simulations: the dependence on the guide field", submitted to Journal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics.  The directory contains the input file, output data and post-processing script from running iPIC3D for investigating the formation mechanism of the magnetic decrease ahead of the dipolarization fronts, while the code iPIC3D is available on https://bitbucket.org/bopkth/ipic3d-klm. Each case represents a simulation of magnetic reconnection with different guide field. The details are described in the paper.
