Digital orthophotos in floor resolution 20 cm (DOP20) NW

Orthophotos are high-resolution, distortion-free, true-to-scale images of the Earth’s surface. They are produced by photogrammetric methods in knowledge of the orientation parameters and with the addition of a digital elevation model from aerial images, which are available as vertical images. Digital orthophotos are georeferenced, are available nationwide and are renewed in a 2-year cycle. They are manufactured according to the product standard of the country based on the definitions of an AdV standard (AdV Association of Surveying Administrations of the Länder) and have a soil resolution of 20 cm/pixel. These are 4-channel multispectral images with the channel assignment RGBI (red-green-blue-near infrared).
