This dataset contains the experimental data collected for the study “QN-MHPV2: A Physiologically Grounded Cognitive Model of Takeover Time in Conditionally Automated Driving.” The data were obtained from a driving simulator experiment investigating driver takeover performance under different takeover-request (TOR) conditions. The experiment manipulated TOR modalities (auditory, visual, and tactile), warning parameters, semantic content, non-driving-related tasks, takeover lead times, and road environments to examine their effects on takeover time (TOT).
