Myocarditis is caused by an inflammation of cardiac muscle, which can possibly result in decrease in cardiac output and irregular heart rhythm. According to Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System(VAERS ), myocarditis after BNT162b2 mRNA vaccination happens usually within a week of vaccination, especially in male adolescents and young adults. Here, we report the changes in peripheral immune landscape via single-cell RNA-seq analysis in a patient with myocarditis after BNT12b2 vaccination.
