Redlegged earth mite (Halotydeus destructor) insecticide resistance surveillance data collected in 2025 across eastern Australia

Insecticide resistance surveillance records for redlegged earth mite (RLEM) populations screened in 2025 across eastern Australia (Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia and South Australia) for resistance to organophosphate and synthetic pyrethroid insecticides, generated through the GRDC investment “Leading practice management of the redlegged earth mite (RLEM) (CES2503-001RTX)”. This dataset includes collection date, state, region, GPS coordinates, date screened, and the resistance status of each screened population to organophosphate and synthetic pyrethroid insecticides. It represents the first year of a four-year surveillance program to be conducted under this project.
