We propose to observe 2 cool core clusters of extreme X-ray luminosity RXJ1532and MACS1931 at redshifts 0.36 and 0.35 respectively where they appear almostpoint-like to the RGS. Archival RGS data of 40 and 45 ks respectively reveallines indicating X-ray cool gas in their cores. Our aims are to determine themass cooling rates for gas below a temperature of 2 keV and constrain theturbulent energy density of that gas using velocity line widths. A newintrinsic-absorption model will be applied. We expect to confirm total masscooling rates of about 1000Msunpyr in these exceptional objects. [truncated! Please see actual data for full text]
