Differential gene expressions by Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium robertsii in a co-culture

The spores of Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium robertsii were inoculated at the final concentration of 5*10^5 spores/ml in the Sabouraud dextrose broth (100 ml in 250 ml flask) and inocubated at 25 C and 200 rpm for seven days. The mycelia were then harvested for RNA extraction and RNA-seq analysis with an Illumina technique to detect differental gene expressions by each fungus.
