These co-regulated genes are candidates for regulation by a systemic signal Overall design: Shoots and roots of wild-type plants grown in control and Zn-deficient conditions were harvested at 7 weeks of age, 3 weeks after transfer to -Zn or control media. Shoot and roots of wild-type and hma2 hma4 plants were harvested after 21 days of growth
