Interviews with Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation Citizens regarding Gwich'in relationships with caribou and the effects of the international Alaska-Yukon border (2023)

Interviews were conducted to support the Principal Investigator's LLM thesis research on the legal dimensions of Gwich'in responsibilities to caribou; the past and present effects of the international Alaska-Yukon border, and the potential uses and limits of international human rights law as a way for Gwich'in to confront challenges like proposed oil and gas development in Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and uphold its responsibilities to caribou across the border.
