Dataset on Assessing the Socio-Economic and Environmental Factors Shaping Türkiye's Virtual Land Trade Balance

This dataset was used in the analysis of the determinants of Turkey’s virtual land trade balance in crop trade between 1986 and 2019. It includes variables such as Turkey’s virtual land trade balance (VLT), per capita arable land (ARL), annual total precipitation (YGS), fertilizer use per hectare of arable land (FRT), the real effective exchange rate based on the consumer price index (REX), and the ratio of Turkey’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to the world GDP (GDP). The dataset supports the findings of a manuscript currently under review in a peer-reviewed journal.
